About the event: Keep the local economy strong by shopping for unique handcrafted items from 25 Minnesota and Wisconsin area artists. The sale will feature everything from maple syrup and all natural dog biscuits to ceramics, jewelry, soaps, ornaments, clothing, holiday decor, cards, and fine art. (and books! at least mine…)
Brush and Pen: Festival of Artists and Authors – St. Paul, MN

Join with local artists and authors for a awesome, fun day of discovering, exploring and sharing in creative community. This is both a show and sale.
We come together to send a ripple of creativity out into the Twin Cities.
This is a curated festival with 13 local artists using different mediums to express creativity as well as 13 local authors from different genres.

There will be a meet, greet and networking from 5:30-7 meet your favorite artists and authors and network with new and old friends.
Woodland Manitou Pre-Launch Release – Brookings Farmer’s Market – Brookings, SD
September 2, 9:30-11:30am
Join me for the release of the first copies of Woodland Manitou! I’ll be set up next to the Hillside Prairie Gardens booth to sign the very first printed copies at the Brookings Farmer’s Market on Sept. 2 from 9:30-11:30 – there will be scones, books for purchase, and of course, lots of fresh local produce.
Woodland Manitou Launch Celebration – Simple Living – Osceola, Wisconsin

Join me for the official launch celebration of Woodland Manitou: To Be on Earth at Simple Living, a store dedicated to promoting simplicity, sustainability, and supporting local artists. I’ll be signing books, of course, and there will be refreshments offered as well as some activities with a local herbalist.
Make a day out of it and have lunch before or dinner afterwards at The WaterShed Cafe next door, visit Cascade Falls (the local waterfall a stone’s throw from the store) or stop in at Pleasant Valley Orchard, just across the river.
